Maquoketa City manager explains upcoming construction projects

With Spring right around the corner, construction plans are being finalized for the construction season.

This is one of the main topics Maquoketa City Manager Josh Boldt spoke about when he was on Just Talk this morning. He mentioned the ten year improvement plan for the city’s roads and infrastructure.

Josh then went on to talk about improvements that will be made specifically for Matteson Street. With the splash pad that will be built in the area, the street will need an update to be able to handle the increased demand.

While Matteson Street was specifically listed, he also mentioned many other streets that will see similar improvements in their infrastructure.
