Scholarships available to applicants through MercyOne Clinton Foundation

This morning on Just Talk we had the Chief Development Officer of the MercyOne Clinton Foundation Julie Dunn on to discuss the nonprofit’s scholarship options.

The Foundation’s primary goal is to raise funds for the area’s medical services, but they also provide scholarships to those pursuing education in medical fields. They have offered these scholarships for years, and are hoping more people will take advantage of the opportunity.

While they are expecting the biggest need to be in nursing, that is not the only people who can apply for the scholarships. Anyone in a medical field of study can apply for the scholarships, with only some of them being specifically for nursing.

So if you are a student planning on going into any kind of medical or healthcare field, reach out and submit an application for their scholarships. While they are based in Clinton, they have applicants in the Maquoketa area that receive scholarship funding. The deadline for applications is the last day of March.
