Last night in local high school boys postseason basketball: Central DeWitt beat West Liberty 77-34 at home, the Sabers now advance to a Class 3A Substate Semifinal vs Marion on Thursday. We’ll have live play by play coverage of that game on KMAQ.
Also last night the Maquoketa boys basketball season came to an end as they were defeated in the first round of substate by Cedar Rapids Xavier 64-40. The Cardinal boys end their season 8-14 and graduate 5 seniors.

At the Boys State Bowling Tournament yesterday the Maquoketa Cardinals finished in 3rd place as a team. Landon Costello and Logan Clasen are competing individually today.
