Maquoketa City Council Meeting – 2/16/26

Yesterday the Maquoketa City Council held a regular meeting at the town hall.

Items on the agenda ranged from updates on smaller projects, public hearings on loans for two different projects, and a change in the contract between the city and the YMCA.

Scott Warren of the YMCA spoke at the meeting discussing the need to update the contract to better reflect the upcoming splash pad.

After a brief discussion, all members of the city council agreed, and the contract was updated to reflect the upcoming facility and the management of it.

All other resolutions on the agenda passed unanimously.
