Poetry reading meet and greet with local poet in Bellevue for Valentine’s Day

Tomorrow in Bellevue there is going to be a free poetry reading plus meet and greet with the local author.

Anne McGee Tibbitts was available for a short interview to talk about the event which will be at the Great River Gallery. The event falling on Valentine’s Day was by choice, as I asked Tibbitts what the theme of her poetry book was and she responded with, of course, love.

During the event she will be reading some poems from her book, with Tibbitts also taking suggestions and requests from attendees. Many of the poems are also inspired by true stories from people she has met. The event will be tomorrow at the Great River Gallery from 4-8pm, with light refreshments being provided.
