$200,000 committed to 4-H Barn of Dream at the fairgrounds

Two local businesses will be supporting a 4-H pitched Barn of Dreams livestock pavilion project. Dan Powers was so impressed with the pitch, that he announced financial support for the building project totalling 200-thousand dollars. We reached out to Deb Powers for comment on the support, and she had this to say about the financial commitment.

After clarifying what the support looks like, she went on to comment about the necessity of the building and project. As they see it, it is not just an investment into the kids here today, but for many future generations and the community as a whole.

Because of that commitment to the building, the project already has seen community wide support. As this is a fairly recent development, we will have members of the Jackson County 4-H on our Just Talk program on Monday morning to discuss this in depth.
