Master Gardener Grant application period ends next week

Today on Just Talk we had Master Gardeners Judy Tonderum and Melissa Wood to discuss Valentine’s information.

Before they jumped into that topic though, they touched upon the community grants that are offered through the Master Gardeners. These are open for applications from people in Jackson County who want to create or maintain natural areas in the community.

They have had this grant available for over 20 years, which has resulted in the funds being used all over Jackson County. So if you have a project in mind that would benefit a community and involves natural areas, apply quickly, as the deadline is next Friday Feb. 20th.
