Supervisor Don Schwenker discusses county budget updates and process

This morning we had Jackson County Supervisor Don Schwenker on to discuss county business.

He gave updates on the roads, bridges, and the budget for the county. He talked more about the budget and that they are in the process of working out the details. The supervisors have already had many work sessions on the topic, and are through their first version, but will be fine tuning it if necessary.

Public meetings and announcements will also be held when going over the budget and before it is passed, all of which are open to the public. Supervisor Schwenker mentioned that they should have a more finalized version by the end of the month, and that anyone with comments or questions should reach out to the supervisors with them.
