New fire truck on display for public viewing in Dubuque next Monday

The Dubuque Fire Department has purchased a new fire truck and are holding a public viewing of it on Monday Feb. 2nd.

Starting at 5:30pm outside the Historic Federal Building, fire department staff will answer any questions about the fire truck and its capabilities. The new truck is lighter, requires less fuel and maintenance, and has expanded fire fighting and emergency medical capabilities.

While it is not in service yet, it will be in the coming weeks, and officials want to allow for the public to get an early viewing.
