Bald eagle watching next weekend in Clinton County

If you’re wanting to watch bald eagles as they hunt and gather on the Mississippi, then mark your calendar for January 31st.

The Clinton County Conservation is hosting the event at the Clinton Community College. Hannah from the conservation was on our Just Talk program and discussed the event in more detail.

The event is free for those who would like to stop by, and warming heaters will also be present. They gather at the lock and dams as that is one of the places where the water remains flowing and available for their hunting. Hundreds of bald eagles are expected to be present, and workers will be providing equipment to enhance views for those present.
