Dubuque road closure for water main repairs

A road is completely closed in Dubuque.

East 8th St. from White St. to Jackson St. is completely closed from today until Friday evening. Repairs are being made to the water main under the street resulting in the road closure. Detour markers will be posted, and the city asks that drivers allow for extra time when commuting and seek out other routes if necessary.

Construction could be delayed due to weather conditions, but is planned to be done by this weekend.
