Clinton man pleads guilty to stalking with GPS device

The weekly sentencing summary for Clinton County has been released.

The only case that resulted in a prison sentence was for John Sawvell Jr. He pled guilty to stalking and unauthorized placement of a GPS device.

Sawvell Jr. pled guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 1 year in county jail, must pay almost 500 dollars in fines, and has a restraining order filed against him.
