Photos needed for new Maquoketa website to boost tourism and promote local beauty

The Maquoketa Chamber and the City of Maquoketa are looking for photos to showcase Maquoketa’s beauty. They are partnering together to create a website that will serve as a way to show the beauty of the Maquoketa area to boost tourism, marketing, and business to the community.

As the caves are already nationally recognized, this website is seeking to help encourage tourists to the caves to see other locations and businesses in and around Maquoketa and Jackson County.

As a part of this marketing, they are asking for local photographers to get out and capture photos for the website! They have many different categories of photos that are needed, and there are prizes to win too. For every category of photos submitted, you could win $200 in chamber bucks, and have your photo(s) used on the website and promotional material.

So get out there and snap some photos that capture Maquoketa and Jackson County’s beauty, charm, and community!
