Events for Jackson County Senior Center moved across Maquoketa

The Jackson County Senior Center is still closed for repairs, and the activities have been moved to other locations.

Lucinda Schwenker was on our Just Talk segment this morning to discuss the shuffling of locations to accommodate all the groups and people within them. She mentioned where all the events will be held for this week, and said it is spread out due to what is available on which days.

The schedule for this week, with locations and times subject to change, especially for next week. Despite the challenge of finding locations, Lucinda mentioned many people and groups in the community that have helped to make this all possible.

Everyone involved at the senior center is thankful for the community for supporting them during this time. They are hoping to get the building back open and operational as quickly as possible. Until then, they thank everyone for their understanding and are more than open to suggestions or help.
