Two people were injured from an accident on Highway 52.
On Monday a collision occurred between an SUV and a truck hauling a boat. The SUV, driven by Yolanda Jepsen of Miles, crossed over Highway 52 without seeing the oncoming truck. The truck, driven by Loren Stropes of Albany, couldn’t stop in time and struck the SUV almost head on.
The truck went into the ditch, rolled, and came to rest on its passenger side. Both vehicles were totaled and the two other occupants in the truck sustained injuries.
Jepsen received a citation for Failure to Yield Upon Entering A Through Highway.
Information comes from the official accident report received by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
