JC Master Gardener grants for community projects

On Thursday, the Jackson County Master Gardeners discussed their community grants on our Just Talk program. Master Gardener Rosie Knoebel talked about how long they have offered grants and that over the years, they have given over 35-and-a-half-thousand dollars to community initiatives.

The money that they use to distribute these grants comes from their farmers market sales and other events. There are conditions and requirements that applicants much meet, which Knoebel discussed further.

Through these grants they have been involved in improvements all across Jackson County. They will be continuing these grants, and encourage those who are interested to reach out, ask questions, and apply for the grants.
