The Maquoketa Caves have been called the most beautiful place in all of Iowa.

The City of Maquoketa shared an article on their Facebook that named the most beautiful places in every state. The Maquoketa Caves was recognized for its uniqueness, beauty, and caving opportunities. Jackson County is lucky to have such a recognized destination right in our backyard.
