Tree trimming around electric infrastructure starting in Maquoketa

The Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility will start tree trimming near electric facilities.

The trimming will be starting this month and ending around April. The trimming is being broken up into different zones. The crews will also be returning after the trimming to clean up and branches left by the curb. They ask that any people with trees near power lines that they would like removed to give them a call.
