Dubuque developer receives $1.4-million in grants and tax rebates from City Council

Dubuque has announced investments into the Historic Millwork District by a developer.

The developer is investing over 6-million dollars into the Novelty Iron Works building which will utilize vacant spaces. The developer is planning on adding housing options in the building, and to help with the development, the City of Dubuque passed 1.4-million dollars in tax rebates and grants for the project.

The Dubuque City Council backs the development and has utilized specific grant funding to encourage and support the investment into the city.
