Preston family raises over $50,000 in donations for U of I Children’s Hospital

The Driscoll family from Preston recently raised over 50-thousand dollars for the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
Their daughter Kendyl Driscoll has led the initiative to raise the funds through an annual side-by-side ride and lemonade stand. Over the past five years they have raised over 150-thousand dollars for the hospital to help with their efforts and capabilities.
KMAQ reached out for a quote from Kendyl Driscoll, and she had this to say. “This year’s 5th annual SxS ride was amazing! It may not have been the best weather day, but people still made the best of it. I am very grateful for everyone who puts in support year after year.”
The parents Corey and Kendra Driscoll also provided a quote. “The incredible support from friends, family, and the community is the main reason why Kendyl’s Ride is a success year after year. It always puts a smile on my face to see return riders, as well as meeting new people who are impacted by Kendyl’s mission. Thank you to all the riders, donors, and supporters!”
