If you’re still needing to get some holiday shopping done, consider shopping in Maquoketa and get rewarded for it. The Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce has their holiday passport that is ongoing and continuing until just after the New Year. We had the chamber on our Just Talk segment yesterday and they spoke about it at length.
They have over 20 different businesses and organizations that you can earn a punch for purchasing from. When completed, you can return the card to either Fareway or the Chamber office and be entered into a drawing.
Two more drawings for chamber bucks will be happening, one tomorrow and the other the week after. Then a 500 chamber buck drawing will happen on Jan. 2nd. So shop local and get a chance to win some big chamber bucks!
