Jackson County Health Foundation community outreach

Today on Just talk I was able to speak with Jackson County Health Foundation Coordinator Katie Bopes.

We spoke about how her first year at the health center has gone and updates that have come out of it. She spoke about the work of the auxiliary that helps support the efforts as well as the foundation itself. As foundation coordinator leads outreach to the community to build positive relationships to the people they help serve.

One of the ways they help to support the community is through scholarships. The foundation as well as the auxiliary both offer a variety of scholarships to graduating high school students, and students from the area that are pursuing medical degrees in college.
