Mr. & Mrs. Claus will bring Christmas cheer to the Maquoketa YMCA Friday night

Today on Just Talk, KMAQ had a very special opportunity for guests. None other than Santa and Mrs. Claus were in our studio talking about all things Christmas.

They are in the area for many different events and activities with the main one being tomorrow at the Maquoketa YMCA. They will be there for anyone and everyone to come and take photos and enjoy their company. They made sure to say not just children, but adults as well can all have their photos taken.

While they will be there for free for any and all, they are also helping to raise money for the Splash Pad in town. The Maquoketa Lions Club were instrumental to get Santa and Mrs. Claus for the event, but they were more than happy to help with such a wonderful cause.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the YMCA in town tomorrow from 6-7:30pm. The Lions Club will be serving hot cocoa and cookies for all who come, and are only asking for an at will donation towards the Splash Pad. So stop by tomorrow night to meet, speak with, and have your photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
