Maquoketa Speedway will host MARS starting races in 2026

Some big news for the Maquoketa Speedway was just announced yesterday.

The Midwest Auto Racing Series, or MARS, is going to be kicking off its 2026 Nippy 50 season right here in Maquoketa. April 3rd and 4th are the days that the opening races will be held at the Maquoketa Speedway, and the choice to start it off in Maquoketa is no accident either.

As MARS Series Director Jonathan Clayton put it, “Maquoketa…continues to prove its place in the Dirt Late Model world as one of the most exciting places to attend a race in the Midwest.”

More information will be coming out about the races soon, including event prices, detailed daily schedules, and much more. To view the full announcement and article, click here.
