Maquoketa Lions Club’s Charity Poker Tournament this Saturday

Today on Just Talk I had a conversation with the president of the Maquoketa Lions Club, Vince Rutigliano. He talked about one of their events in December, their Texas Hold ‘Em tournament this Saturday the 6th. This is their 14th year of the event, and they are helping to raise money and donations for Toys for Tots.

While the cards are being played, there will also be a silent auction at the event too. Many different items from local businesses products, to gift cards, and more.

So if you’re interested in cards, silent auctions, or just want to support their efforts, stop by Schueller Action and Event Center this Saturday for the fun. Sign up starts at 5:30pm with cards starting at 6:30pm.
