Sundown Mountain in Dubuque has delayed its opening for the skiing season.
The resort was planning on opening yesterday to the public, but the winter storm changed their plans. The resort said that fresh snow is not very safe to ski on as it has not been compacted and could lead to more difficult terrain.
The opening has been delayed until this Friday the 5th, when the ski resort will be opened for the season.
