Bellevue City Council meeting discusses potential for new community pool

The Bellevue City Council held a regular meeting this Monday, and saw a discussion about a new swimming pool held.

The bond referendum would see a slight increase in tax rates to the residents of Bellevue. The estimated cost of construction would be around 3-million dollars and would take around a year’s time.

After deliberation, the council gave approval for the bond referendum to appear on the 2026 election ballots. If approved by the majority of residents, construction is estimated to begin after the swimming lesson season of 2027.

Information comes from the official minutes approved and released by the Bellevue City Council.
