Maquoketa waste collection moved because of Thanksgiving

The City of Maquoketa announced on Facebook that there will be changes in the waste pick up for this week.

Thursday is Thanksgiving and will not see trash pick up, but still instead be moved to this Saturday the 29th. Thursday will be the only day impacted, as Friday’s collection will remain unchanged with the holidays. The City of Maquoketa asks that residents have their trash out to collect by 6am on Saturday.

A similar time change will also be happening the week of Christmas and New Years as well.
