Over a dozen deer-motor accidents in Jackson County for November

Since the beginning of November, there have been over a dozen deer and vehicle accidents in Jackson County.

With it also being bow season for deer, and the harvest wrapping up, deer are extra active, especially around dawn and dusk. Most of the accidents occurred around those times or during night, so take extra caution when driving during those times, and never swerve to avoid a collision.

Swerving often leads to more severe accidents than a collision with a deer would.
