Gov. Reynolds signs proclamation allows for heavier agriculture loads

Gov. Reynolds has signed a proclamation allowing semi loads to be overweight for grain, fertilizer, and manure without a permit.

The loads do still have restrictions set on them, but heavier loads can be transported on non-interstate roadways. Another important limit is that the weight of any load does not exceed 90-thousand pounds. The proclamation lasts through Dec. 19th of this year, and is effective immediately.

If you need to do some hauling in the area, you can do so now with greater freedom.
