Two cars on the side of Highway 61

There are two cars that were on the side of Highway 61 when heading north towards Maquoketa.

The cars were reported to police and I saw them myself when driving into town today. One was disabled from a collision with a deer and was at the intersection of 300th Street and 61. The other was within a mile or two north of that and was marked with caution tape on the mirror, but no specific location being given. Officials are aware of the cars and are working to get them moved off of the road.

A reminder as well, it is required by Iowa state law that drivers move over for any stopped vehicles on the side of the road. Not only is it required, but it is also much safer for everyone involved.
