FFA Booster Club steak fry and auction on Friday Nov. 14

On Thursday we here at KMAQ had the opportunity to talk with the FFA booster club and an FFA student. They talked about their steak fry fundraiser that they are having next Friday the 14th. The booster club uses the money raised from events such as the steak fry to help the students in many different ways.
The event itself is also made possible largely by the FFA students themselves. They help set up tables, reach out to community members, and even offer their own services and labor as auction items. The students will be helping to serve food and are vital to making this event possible. The booster club then matches this dedication alongside the students to continue to grow the program.
The steak fry will be organized by the FFA booster club and the FFA students, while the meal is being catered by Kalmes. Great food, great people, a fun live and silent auction, and plenty more. If you want a meal and help support the youth of the community, mark your calendar for next Friday, Nov. 14th, with doors opening at 6pm.
