Triple agency investigation into Bellevue ATM theft

The Bellevue Police Department is actively investigating an ATM burglary.

Around 4am today, reports came in about a possible theft occurring at the Fidelity Bank in town. When police arrived on scene, they found an abandoned vehicle and a damaged ATM. The vehicle had been reported as stolen from Springbrook earlier this morning.

The Bellevue Police Department is asking for assistance from the community. Any businesses or people who saw or heard anything, or has video surveillance, should contact the police.

KMAQ has reached out to Fidelity Bank and Trust for an official comment, and is awaiting a response.

The Bellevue Police Department is being assisted in the investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office as well as the FBI.
