Maquoketa’s Hardin finishes 2nd at State XC Meet

Maquoketa Cardinal senior Izzy Hardin wrapped up her high school cross-country career with a runner-up finish at the Iowa High School Class 3A Girls State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge. Hardin finished with a blazing time of 18.02.8, the second fastest time of her career. She improved by nearly 33 seconds from last year’s state meet, when she finished 5th. Hardin finished behind last year’s champion, Arkansas XC commit, and Pella senior Marissa Ferebee, who ran a 17.47.9. Congratulations on all of your hard work paying off, Izzy!
