Easton Valley construction proposal vote takes place Nov. 4th

KMAQ was able to have members of the Easton Valley School District on our Just Talk segment. Superintendent Chris Fee and Advisory Committee member Seth Lawson discussed the plan to expand the school district’s capabilities. They started off by discussing how the proposed plan that is up for a vote on Nov.4th came to be.
The plan, if passed, would allow for upgrades to be made without increasing the taxes paid by the community. The committee worked to meet the needs of the school and students without affecting the tax rates.
The project would take place over the span of ten years. It would start with construction of a new gym, but would also provide upgrades to various fields and facilities utilized by the entire school.
Voting for the proposal will take place on Tuesday Nov.4th. Those in the Easton Valley School District will see an option to vote on the proposal on the ballot.
