Clinton woman sentenced for felony theft

A Clinton woman was sentenced to prison for 1st degree theft.
27-year-old Rachel Thornburg of Clinton pled guilty to one count of 1st degree theft. The crime that Thornburg pled guilty to happened back in March of this year. Thornburg, alongside one other, assaulted and robbed a woman in Clinton. The injuries sustained by the victim required medical transport and care.
On Friday, Oct. 23rd, Thornburg was sentenced to a maximum of ten years in prison for 1st degree robbery by a habitual offender. She must also pay over a thousand dollars in fines alongside her prison sentence.
