Annual photography contest is accepting submissions

Those who have an eye for photography, or would like to try it out, may want to consider entering into Keep Iowa Beautiful’s 16th Annual Photography Contest.

The contest allows for photos of various Iowa beauties to be captured and submitted. There are multiple categories, from landscape, to water, wildlife, and hometown pride.

Jackson County is uniquely posed to have many options for all of these categories. The landscape is beautiful, plenty of creeks, streams, and rivers, and plenty of hometown pride. A small entry fee is required for each photo submitted, but payouts to the winners more than compensate for it.

Entries can be submitted until Dec. 12th, so snap some pictures and show the rest of Iowa just how beautiful Jackson County is!

Photo and information comes from the Keep Iowa Beautiful’s website which can be visited here.
