Bellevue discusses building town amphitheater

Bellevue’s City Council discussed building an amphitheater or stage in town during their meeting on Monday.
Bellevue has set priorities to develop the downtown riverfront, and this would align with that goal. The purpose of it would be for use for any number of community activities. Music events and fishing tournaments were just two uses given during the city council meeting.
Alongside this, there would also be easily accessible public restrooms. The proposed location is the municipal lot which is leased by the city.
Approval was given for plans to be drawn and prepared, with a final proposal to be given at the next city council meeting.
Information comes from the official minutes approved by the city council.
