More information has been released about the accident between two semi trucks on Wednesday the 15th. The accident was blocking the crossing on Esgate and Hurstville Roads.
According to the official police report, both drivers involved blamed the other for the accident. Milos Gasovic of Illinois was driving the truck that was hit by Doug Tran’s of Davenport truck. Neither of the men were injured but Tran’s truck sustained around $10,000 in damages and was later towed away.
Both drivers believed their account of events, and tensions between the two were running high when police arrived on the scene. Due to a lack of clear evidence and the confidence of both men in their conflicting stories, no citations were issued to either of the drivers.
