Maquoketa Halloween Spooktacular’s Haunted House continues this weekend

The Terror at the Clinton Engines continues this weekend with plenty more scares! The event has plenty of thrills, spooks, and twists to keep you on your toes.

Last weekend saw many people going through enjoying the ghost tour, and then going to the machine shed haunted house. Natalie Petersen of Petersen Photography is part of the Spooktacular group that is making it all possible. She was on KMAQ’s Just talk segment Tuesday and mentioned the number of people that enjoyed both events.

Petersen went through both of the tours with her family and they all enjoyed them. The first tour is for all ages, perfect for families with younger children. The machine shed haunted house however is where the real scares happen.

If you’re looking for a fun event to bring your family to this Friday and Saturday, Clinton Engine Building is the place to be. Tickets are seven dollars for either the tour or haunted house, or just ten dollars for both. Families of five can also get in for just $30 on Friday.

Stop by for a great tour and fun, and stick around if you’re brave enough for the haunted house scares. There will also be vendors and food that will be available at the event as well.
