This past Tuesday The Maquoketa Trap Team and the Maquoketa VFW came onto KMAQ’s Just Talk. They discussed their luncheon that is on Saturday from 11am-2pm.
The luncheon is done to help raise money for the Maquoketa Trap Team, as the ammunition that they use in a year is quite expensive.
The meal that they provide will be free of charge. They are able to keep it free by their supporters of the event, Fareway and HyVee Dollar Fresh, which are vital in allowing the food to be free through their donations of supplies.
All they ask for the meal is a good will donation of what people can provide.
