In MLB playoff action: 3 of the 4 wildcard matchups will go to a game 3, all of which will be played today. Yesterday The Guardians took care of the Tigers 6-1, The Padres shut out the Cubs 3-0, and the Yankees edged the Red Sox 4-3. That makes three winner-take-all matchups set for today. The Los Angeles Dodgers were the only team to close out their Wild Card matchup in 2 games as L.A. took down the Cincinnati Reds 8-4 last night. The 3-seed Dodgers will face the 2nd-seeded Philadelphia Phillies in the best-of-5 NLDS beginning on Saturday.
