Midland sweeps Easton Valley 3-0
Last night was the annual Homecoming Powderpuff Game in Maquoketa; Where the high school girls hit the gridiron to show off their football skills. The seniors took home the win in dominant fashion, it was a great night of competition!

In the American League: The Detroit Tigers snuck by the Cleveland Guardians 2-1 thanks to 14 strikeouts from their ace Tarik Skubal. The Boston Red Sox hung on to beat the New York Yankees 3-1 despite the Yankees having bases loaded with no outs in the 9th inning.
In the National League: The Chicago Cubs use back-to-back home runs in the 5th inning to boost them over the San Diego Padres 3-1. The Los Angeles Dodgers use 5 home runs, two each by Teoscar Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani, to defeat the Cincinnati Reds 10-5.
