Off-highway vehicle registration is open until end of the year

Off-highway vehicle owners can now renew their registrations for all-terrain vehicles, off-road utility vehicles, off-road motorcycles, and snowmobiles.

The registration window opened Sept. 1 and remains open until Dec. 31.  To renew a registration, visit any County Recorder’s office, or go to the Iowa DNR’s online licensing site: gooutdoorsiowa.com.  Online registrations will need to allow 5-10 business days for them to arrive in the mail.

New owners of off-road vehicles will need to go to their county recorders office to start the registration process. Some fees may be present, with money going towards grants for development and maintenance of off-highway parks and snowmobile trails.
