Sentencing hearing for Jeffry Dierksen

Registered sex offender Jeffry Thomas Dierksen has a sentencing hearing this Friday the 19th.

Dierksen is charged with Providing False Information to the sex offenders registry by giving an address he has never lived at. This is his 2nd offence of this crime, making it a felony charge, while the 1st offence was an aggravated misdemeanor. Dierksen was arrested on May 19th while he was at the post office, and held on a 10-thousand dollar bail.

Dierksen initially pleaded not guilty in May, but 2 months later in July, pleaded guilty to the charge. Dierksen will be sentenced for his crime this Friday in the Jackson County Courthouse.
