Two local businesses will participate in Farm Open House this weekend

Two businesses in the area are participating in Iowa’s Farm Open House. The Farm Open House is organized by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.

This weekend visitors and tourists from both in and out of state are welcome to any of the participating locations. You’ll have an opportunity to tour the grounds, meet the owners and operators, and support local businesses.

Each location will have events specific to their location and business for any and all to enjoy. Gravert’s Apple Basket Orchard in Sabula is one, and Wide River Winery in Clinton is another participant. You can enjoy the weekend by stopping by both of those locations, learning about what they do and how, and getting some delicious apples and wines.
