Bellevue State Park joins state-wide volunteer day on September 27th

Iowa state parks have set Saturday, Sept. 27 as annual Volunteer Day for clean-up efforts and events. 15 state parks are participating in the event, with Bellevue State Park being one of them.
Clean-up and maintenance efforts will look differently for each park. Some of them may include litter pick-up, removing invasive species and plants, repairing and maintaining picnic tables, and many more.
Anyone and everyone is invited to join park staff to help care for Iowa’s natural areas. You’ll be able to freshen up campgrounds and facilities, engage with community members, and spend time outdoors in Bellevue’s beautiful state park.
