KMAQ Word to Your Summer Winner

Yesterday during the Maquoketa Summer Concert Series, we here at KMAQ held our Word To Your Summer event!

All 30 of our winners participated in a lottery, where only one person could take home the 500 dollars in KMAQ bucks. While there was only one grand prize winner, everyone went home with a gift card to one of the sponsors that helped make this event possible. The bucks can be used at any and all of the sponsors who participated in the word to your summer promotion.

The event went by fast, with people being eliminated one after another. In the end, Sue Zeller from Lost Nation was the grand prize winner! She took home 500 dollars in KMAQ bucks, as well as an additional 750 dollars in gift cards and vouchers to all of the businesses that were sponsors.

Thank you very much to all the people, businesses, and groups that allowed this event to happen!
