First day of school interview with Principal Sara Bennis

Yesterday was the first day of school for the 2025-26 school year. All schools from elementary to universities, saw students back into their classrooms.

I went to the Maquoketa Cardinal Elementary School yesterday and spoke with some of the teachers, faculty, as well as a student. The students were getting ready for lunch when I arrived and spoke with the principal, Sara Bennis. Here’s that conversation.
