Jackson County Sheriff’s Office releases name of rollover driver

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the driver that died Sunday in an accident just west of Sabula. 38-year-old Amber Wieseler of Bellevue was the driver of the Chevy Malibu that rolled over on Highway 52 near the Highway 64 intersection.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the crash at 6:30am on Sunday. Sabula Fire and Rescue were already on scene when officers arrived, and confirmed that Amber was dead on the scene.
The investigation revealed that she lost control of her vehicle when she overcorrected while going around a bend. She then went into a side ditch where she hit a culvert that flipped her car onto its roof.
